Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Policy explains when a customer may request cancellation or a refund for FDB Business courses, workshops, Business Clinic services, learning materials, products, and other services.

Effective: 12 August 2026Last updated: 12 August 2026

Review the course details, curriculum, duration, eligibility, fees, inclusions, and other relevant information before payment. A refund is available only where this Policy or applicable law permits it. Submitting a request does not automatically mean it will be approved.

For a paid online course, an eligible refund request may be submitted within 7 calendar days from successful payment or enrolment, subject to the conditions below. Requests after that period are generally ineligible unless required by law or accepted because of exceptional circumstances.

  • The request is submitted within the applicable refund period.
  • The student has not substantially consumed or completed the digital course content.
  • No certificate has been issued.
  • The request comes from the purchaser or an appropriately authorized person.
  • Required payment and enrolment information is supplied.
  • The request does not involve fraud, misuse, or abuse of the process.
  • FDB Business may reasonably review account activity and course usage to assess eligibility.

Before dispatch, an approved eligible course refund may be processed under this Policy. After dispatch, the cost of supplied materials, packaging, shipping, return logistics, or other non-recoverable costs may be deducted where law permits and as disclosed.

When a return is required, materials should be unused and substantially in their original condition. Do not return materials before receiving instructions from FDB Business.

Contact FDB Business within 7 days of delivery if a book is materially damaged or defective, an incorrect item is delivered, or an applicable package is incomplete. We may request photographs, video, packaging details, order information, or other reasonable evidence.

After verification, FDB Business may arrange a replacement, provide the missing item, or offer another remedy in accordance with applicable law.

If the same purchase is accidentally charged more than once, contact support. After verification, an eligible duplicate charge will be refunded to the appropriate original payment method, subject to payment-provider and banking processes.

Contact support if payment is deducted but the course or service is not activated. We will first verify the payment and try to activate the service. If the transaction cannot be fulfilled and FDB Business received the payment, an appropriate refund or other remedy will be provided according to law and the transaction circumstances.

When a transaction fails or remains pending but an account is debited, the bank, UPI provider, card network, or gateway may reverse it automatically. That timing is controlled by the relevant provider. If FDB Business received the amount despite a failed status, we will verify the transaction and take appropriate action.

Specific booking terms may apply. Unless different terms are clearly displayed, request cancellation at least 48 hours before the scheduled start. Later requests or requests after attendance may be non-refundable, subject to law.

If FDB Business cancels a paid event and provides no suitable rescheduled session or alternative, affected customers are eligible for an appropriate refund.

Request cancellation or rescheduling at least 24 hours before the appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows may not qualify for a refund. Where reasonably possible, rescheduling may be offered instead of cancellation.

If FDB Business cancels and cannot provide an appropriate alternative, the applicable fee may be refunded.

Payments for business partner, franchise, territory, licensing, or similar commercial arrangements are governed primarily by the applicable written agreement and law—not solely by the consumer course-refund provisions. Review that agreement before payment.

Subject to applicable law, a refund may be declined where:

  • The applicable refund period has expired.
  • A substantial portion of digital content has been accessed or the course has been completed.
  • A completion certificate has been issued.
  • The request is fraudulent or abusive.
  • A relevant violation of the Terms & Conditions has occurred.
  • The customer changes their mind after the refund period.
  • A booked service has been substantially delivered or an event attended.
  • The request otherwise does not satisfy this Policy.
  • Mandatory remedies under applicable law remain unaffected.

Use the contact details below and include:

  • Full name, registered mobile number, and registered email address.
  • Order or admission ID and transaction ID.
  • Payment date and the product, course, or service purchased.
  • Reason for the request and relevant supporting documents or screenshots.
  • Any additional information reasonably needed to verify the transaction and request.

FDB Business reviews a complete request against this Policy and applicable law. The customer will be told whether the request is approved, rejected, or needs additional information. Valid and complete requests are reviewed within a reasonable period.

After approval and initiation, the amount is generally returned through the original payment method where technically possible. The time to appear depends on the bank, UPI provider, card issuer, gateway, or other payment provider. FDB Business cannot control delays solely within those third-party systems after proper initiation.

Where possible, refunds are made to the original payment source. Additional verification may be requested if a refund cannot technically be returned through that source.

For purchases using a promotion, coupon, scholarship, discount, cashback, bundle, or special campaign, a refund is ordinarily based on the actual amount paid, subject to the offer terms and law. Promotional benefits generally have no separate cash value unless expressly stated.

Purchasing or completing an FDB Business program does not guarantee business success, revenue, profit, investment, funding, loan approval, franchise success, employment, customer acquisition, or a particular commercial result.

Not achieving a desired business, investment, funding, revenue, or financial result does not automatically create a refund right. A separate funding-support program is governed by its own eligibility criteria and terms.

Contact support if you believe a charge is incorrect so it can be investigated. Fraudulent chargebacks, false disputes, or misuse of payment mechanisms may lead to appropriate action, subject to law. This does not prevent customers from exercising legitimate rights through a bank, provider, or applicable law.

FDB Business Ventures Pvt. Ltd. may update this Policy to reflect service, operational, payment-system, or legal changes. The latest version will be published with an updated date. Mandatory rights and applicable terms communicated for a particular purchase continue to apply as required by law.

By purchasing or booking a course, workshop, Business Clinic appointment, product, or service, you acknowledge the opportunity to review this Policy. Nothing here excludes or restricts a consumer right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under Indian law.
